The DLR is great value at just £1.50 (again!)


If you want to pay by cash, the DLR-only single ticket fare is great value at just £1.50 (70p for children), getting you anywhere within zones 2 and 3 by DLR. This is the third consecutive year that the £1.50 fare has been running, representing great value for DLR passengers.

DLR Press ReleaseThe DLR-only single ticket is available from ticket machines located at DLR stations in zones 2 and 3. Oyster users pay just £1.00 (50p for children) and should remember to touch the card on the reader at the start and end of each journey to ensure they are charged the correct fare.

Make the most of this great value for money fare. The DLR can take you to so many exciting destinations for shopping, restaurants and bars, entertainment and parks; Canary Wharf Mall, Lewisham Shopping Centre, Greenwich Town Centre and Mudchute Park & Farm. The choice is yours!

If you haven't used the DLR before simply contact your local DLR Community Ambassador for a short, simple training session (available in a variety of languages), to help you use the ticket machines.
