DLR Dave visits local primary schools to promote railway safety
DLR is launching a fun and imaginative safety campaign to local primary schools this month, promoting key safety advice to help keep children safe during the summer holidays.
Visiting the local boroughs of Tower Hamlets, Newham, Greenwich and Lewisham, the message will be to "Stay Safe on the DLR with DLR Dave".
The talks are delivered by Serco Docklands staff, operators of the DLR, with a colourful and vibrant presentation which will engage the children in a lively and interactive way.
Supporting the presentation, to ensure that these important messages are absorbed and remembered, is a children's fun activity book. The book includes all the activities that children love: colouring, quizzes, a press-out-and-play board game and, of course, stickers.
